eLabFTW is an open-source electronic lab notebook designed for researchers across all disciplines, while also being widely used by teachers, biotech companies, and organizations handling sensitive scientific data.

As the Product Designer, I lead the design of new features and the continuous improvement of existing user journeys, balancing usability, efficiency, and technical constraints. Working closely with an engaged and diverse user base, I conduct qualitative interviews to better understand real laboratory workflows and translate them into clear, scalable product solutions.

A strong focus of my work is ensuring visual accessibility across the interface, while also aligning design decisions with cybersecurity best practices, essential for a product dealing with confidential research information. In parallel, I maintain and evolve the design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and smoother collaboration between design and development teams.
